What is Saddle Pressure Mapping?

Saddle pressure mapping is not the same as sitting on a piece of cardboard or a gel pad to measure sit bone width. Pressure mapping allows us to see exactly how you are sitting on your actual saddle whilst pedaling.

From the data, we can see weight distribution, instability, and of course… pressure!

Due to the running cost of the system and the additional time it takes, we only include pressure mapping in the Comprehensive & Elevate Series of bike fit services.

What can we use it for?

  • Identifying and monitoring asymmetries

  • Visualizing saddle discomfort helping guide us towards the best saddle

  • Monitoring the impacts positional challenges have ( bar position, saddle height etc)
